Festival tickets may be purchased online through TICKETFLY.COM. TicketFly charges a service charge of $9 to $15 per ticket (depending on ticket type), plus a handling fee of $4 per order. Tickets will go on sale at 12:00 noon EDT on Saturday, March 23.

No-Frills Ticketing
As an alternative to ticketfly.com, we are providing a "No-Frills" ticketing service (formerly called "E-Ticketing"). Capital Jazz Fest tickets may be purchased through this service here on the CAPITALJAZZ.COM web site beginning at noon EDT on March 23. Patrons purchasing tickets through this service will receive an e-mail receipt confirming their purchase. Patrons may then claim their tickets on the day of show at the will-call booth at Merriweather Post Pavilion. Tickets will not be mailed. Seats will not be assigned at the time of purchase, but patrons will receive their seat assignment at the time they claim their tickets. A service charge of $3.50 per ticket is charged for the No-Frills ticketing service.

Purchase Tickets by Phone
Tickets may be ordered by phone beginning March 23 at 12 noon ET through TicketFly. To place a phone order, call 877.435.9849 (877.4FLY.TIX). TicketFly charges a service charge of $9 to $15 per ticket (depending on ticket type), plus a handling fee of $4 per order.

Tickets may be purchased directly from the Merriweather Post Pavilion box office. The box office accepts Master Card, Visa, and American Express. No service charge if paying by cash. 4% service charge if paying by credit card.

VIP Floor Seating
VIP Floor seating is located in the first nine rows of the floor (rows AAA through F), directly in front of the Pavilion Stage.
VIP Plus Package for Two
The Capital Jazz Fest is again offering a limited number of VIP Plus Packages for 2013. The package includes two adjacent VIP Floor seats in the Center Floor section, a VIP parking pass for one vehicle, and admission for two to the VIP Deck. The VIP Deck is a private area near the Pavilion Stage that features a refreshment bar, cash bar, and private rest rooms.
VIP Plus packages are only available for purchase via this web site. They are not available through TicketFly, ticketfly.com, or at the box office. Your tickets, parking pass, and deck pass will all be sent to you via U.S. Mail a few weeks prior to the festival.

All Pavilion seating is reserved and all seats are covered.

The Soul Stage
The Soul Stage is located on the festival grounds, about a four-minute walk from the main pavilion seating area. All festival tickets include free admission to the Soul Stage. Chair seating and lawn seating are available at the Soul Stage on a first-come first-serve basis. All seating at this stage is outdoors, general admission, i.e. no reserved seats.
General Admission
All General Admission seating is outdoors and on a first-come first-serve basis. Seating is available on the main lawn, the side lawns, the Soul Stage lawn, and in Symphony Woods. Specific seating locations are not guaranteed. Arrive early for best choice of seating.
Group Rates
Discounts are available to groups of 12 or more persons attending the Capital Jazz Fest on the same festival-day. Group discounts are for general admission seating only and are not available for Pavilion seating. Group tickets may only be purchased by mail-order, using our special group ticket order form. Group tickets are not available through TicketFly and credit cards are not accepted.

Children's Ticket Policy
Children age 2 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult ticket holder. All persons seated in Pavilion Seating must have a ticket, regardless of age.
Refund Policy
The Capital Jazz Fest is held rain or shine. Talent lineup and schedule are subject to change without notice. All ticket sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations are permitted.

Accessible Seating
Persons requiring mobility accessible seating should contact TicketFly at 877.435.9849. Persons requiring hearing or visually accessible seating should call Merriweather Post Pavilion at 410.715.5550.
